Anthony says: The core of this song originates from that wonderful opening keyboard line & beat written by Nate. We spent a few practices hashing out the rest in Nate's parent's basement and/or garage (but it was summer and blazing hot and the basement has air conditioning). Andy Gale was our drummer at the time. I remember the development of this song fondly and hope I have some of the practices recorded. This version recorded at Stillness Sound Facility (yellow house) with J. Christian Quick at the boards. Oddly, earlier this week (Oct. 2014) I was listening to Psychedelic Furs' "The Ghost in You" and I couldn't help but notice potential similarities in the main keyboard riff (written by Nate) and the backup vocal melody line (written by Me). However, I don't think at the time Nate would've been significantly influenced by the Furs' although I certainly was,but could not have pointed it out directly in any of my songs at the time.
