Anthony says: Again, another track written prior to joining the band and without question inspired by the guitar compositions of Vini Reilly. A funny note: for years this piece was called "Johnny Appleseed" because I'd completely mixed up my folk tales and this was discovered much to my embarrassment in a conversation with Nate wherein he corrected me amid much laughter. I did actually write this track while sitting under a tree in my backyard at the time. Almost equally as funny, I didn't actually have to change the name: it's an instrumental. Johnny planted them, Rip napped under them. Stands to reason I probably owe Johnny a song. Forthcoming.
The original, Pre-RCR version was slightly longer (the core track, not counting the additional samples, etc on this version) and kudos to Nate who, in the studio suggested I play a section only once that was originally played twice and I agree it doesn't lose anything and gains something for being shorter with less repetition. Nate also added some nifty e-Bowed guitar to this.
