Anthony says: To this day still one of my personal favorites of songs I've written because it's short, fairly easy to play and one of my better "early" songs. I wrote this about 2 years prior to joining RCR but this is to my mind the definitive version. Thanks guys. I believe prior to this recording it only existed as an acoustic demo recorded in my bedroom, one guitar doubled a lead vocal and backing vocal so all the ambience and the texture came from the studio performances. Christian added the backwards drum sample to go into the actual drum pattern to start the song which was cool. When it came time for Brian's keyboard contribution I gave him (or had him listen to) Slowdive's "Sing" because of it's great ambiences and textures co-written with Brian Eno and I requested Brian to create something in that spirit. Very pleased with all the contributions and results.
